A Batemans Bay golfer at Catalina Club has played his way into the Guinness World Records with his
incredible feat of having four hole-in-ones at the same hole.
When Tony Riches knocked a 6-iron shot into the cup at the par-3 7th hole at Catalina Club on
11-Feb-2024, he was astonished like everyone else around the club.
It completed a set of four hole-outs at the same 145-metre hole, beginning on 18-Apr-2015
(a year when he did it twice) and repeated in 2018 and again in 2024.
The previous record for the most number of hole-outs at the same hole in competition play was two.
